so all that festive stuff is past, 1stB is back at school, 2ndB is back at childminder (two days a week), I am about to be back at work, and it's cold and dark with no festive stuff to look forward to. it's a bit dull this english winter thing isn't it?
but before i get too sorry for myself - here's my christmas present: two days in a fancy lodge in the new forest with horseriding both days and an amazing overnight stay with posh restaurant (it has a dress code) and log fires. BY MYSELF. and i'm going next week.
i will now do a little dance.

We have just gone on a serious serious cost cutting spree. No more child care, no more eating in restuarants & definitely no more dreaming about running off for a quiet, childfree weekend:-(

Sorry, my curiosity about 1stB and Santa took over the required congratulations on your pressie (or perhaps I'm a tad jealous).
Enjoy your moments tout a seule with the gee-gees, fancy schmancy restaurant etc and I hope you sleep in the middle of the bed and use up all the towels..

thanks fm - just saw it on your blog too. i think on measure i'll take the possessions won rather than earned - that sounds easiest and i'm feeling lazy! and am loving the cow theme.
